The Journey is a simply constructed trifold leather notebook cover for you to make uniquely yours. Select your leather color, your cord color, and add a personal embossing. The elastic band on the inside lets you add and swap out notebooks as you like.
The Journey A6 is handmade in Oregon from certified Italian vegetable-tanned leather. It fits the Midori MD Notebook A6, standard A6 notebooks and inserts. It arrives with a complimentary Apica CD Notebook in Yellow, already inside, ready to write.

The Journey is an elastic cord refillable notebook cover made from vegetable-tanned leather. A single elastic cord through the spine holds your inserts. Each cover is handmade in Oregon in your chosen leather and cord color.

Size and Compatibility
The Journey is available in three sizes. Due to the handmade nature of our covers, dimensions/measurements may vary slightly.
Journey A5 (Medium)
- Dimensions: approximately 8.5" × 6.3" (215 × 160mm). Width can expand slightly with additional inserts.
- Compatibility: Hobonichi Cousin, Midori Notebook MD A5, Apica CD Notebook A5, standard A5 & A5 slim notebooks and inserts.
Journey A6 (Small)
- Dimensions: approximately 6.1" × 4.5" (155 × 114mm) closed. Width can expand slightly with additional inserts.
- Compatibility: Hobonichi Techo Original, Midori MD Notebook A6, Apica CD Notebook A6, standard A6 notebooks and inserts
Journey A7 (Mini)
- Dimensions: approximately 4.3" × 3.1" (110mm × 80mm) Width can expand slightly with additional inserts.

Materials
Every leather notebook cover is made from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather from a centuries-old tannery in Tuscany, Italy. It is certified by the Pelle Vegetale Consortium, ensuring the leather is ethically sourced and tanned using traditional, plant-based methods. A serialized hang tag ships with every cover.
As natural leather, you may notice some color variations and slight marks, making each piece unique. Over time, the leather will develop a rich patina shaped by how you use it.
